Registration & Tuition
To Register you must have a credit card.
If you must pay by check please email to backflowtrainingservices@uphcaacademy.org with, name of individual, email address, phone number and the company the individual represents. Further instructions will be given at that time.

Each of the following steps are “Required” & Must be Completed 14 days before class begins:
Step 1– Training course registration fee
$800.00 for certification
$450.00 for re-certification
Classes are taught monthly and are limited in size to ensure proper instruction and provide adequate hands-on practice and testing preparation.

Step 2 – ABPA examination registration and exam fee
A $215.00 test fee must be paid before the test.
ABPA members pay $185.00.
Late fee of $100.00 for any registration received 14 days of the exam.
A certification card and diploma given upon successful completion.
At the time of class registration, a specific ABPA link will be provided to access the registration for the ABPA Test.
You must register and pay for the ABPA Test at least 2 weeks in advance of taking the class or the applicant will not receive a test!!
Step 3 – Utah Backflow Assembly Tester Certification Fee (only required in Utah)

Class Registration, ABPA Testing Fee & Utah Certification payments must be paid separately.
CEU Credit Available:
Tester Certification 3.5 CEU’s for water operators. 12 CEU’s for plumbers. 6 CEU’s for contractors
Tester Re-Certification 2.1 CEU’s for water operators. 12 CEU’s for plumbers. 6 CEU’s for contractors
Student manuals, pencils, materials, highlighters, and test equipment will be provided.
USC’s 10th edition / ABPA test procedures will be taught and tested
